CBBS supported European cities to be awarded by ACES Europe (Brussels)
CBBS, management consulting and EU lobbying company from Zagreb successfully lobbied and supported Croatian Osijek-Baranja County to be awarded with the title: „European Region of Sport 2024“ and Town of Makarska to be awarded with the title: “European Town of Sport 2024“ in the competition organized by ACES Europe (European Capitals and Cities of Sport Federation) from Brussels.
Besides Croatian cities CBBS has supported successful candidatures of the other cities from South East Europe as follows: Herceg Novi (Montenegro), Subotica (Serbia), Prishtina (Kosovo), Thessaloniki (Greece) and Vlore (Albania).
All awarded European Regions, Cities, Comunities and Towns of Sport, including City of Genoa as European Capital of Sport 2024, will be the reference for sport, physical activity and sport policies in Europe during the next 12 months.
ACES Europe and CBBS are working closely in order to bring the new candidates from Croatia/SE Europe interested to become European Capitals, Regions, Cities, Islands and Towns of Sport and members of ACES Europe.
