CBBS initiated SME project for the stronger internationalization of SMEs in SE Europe
CBBS initiated and created with 8 partners from SE Europe a joint project with the goal to support stronger and faster internationalization of SE European SMEs to qualify for the funding in the frame of 4th call of SE Europe programme. Project is focused on the part of the programme under Priority Axis 1 – Facilitation of innovation and entrepreneurship and was successfuly submitted to JTS (Joint Technical Secretariat) in Budapest, December 2, 2011.
In the frame of the project partners are planning to prepare a market study about SMEs in SE Europe, will implement training/educational activities for SMEs and will be offering trade fairs, conferences and matchmaking opportunities as an ideal platform for SE European SMEs for the education, learning about the new trends and for the networking with international partners.
Project will be running for 24 months and estimated value of the project is cca 1,7 MEUR. SE European networking events and conferences will be covering new, innovative topics of the particular interest for SMEs in SE European countries (green building, eco – agriculture, renewable energy, ecology, EU policy towards SMEs, EU support for internationalization of SMEs …).
Partners in the project are coming from following SE European countries: Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia and Serbia. Croatian partner in the project is Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts from Zagreb.
