CBBS successfully supported and lobbied for the Me\u0111imurje County<\/a> to be awarded as first Croatian county with the title: \u201cEuropean Region of Sport 2022\u201d, in the competition organized by European association ACES Europe<\/a> (European Capitals and Cities of Sport Federation) from Brussels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CBBS also supported City of Rijeka<\/a> to be awarded as: \u201eEuropean City of Sport 2022\u201c, in the category of the cities with more than 25 000 inhabitants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Due to the COVID 19 situation and mobility difficulties, ACES Europe organized the virtual visits and evaluation of the candidatures of Croatian candidates. Croatian cities and municipalites will receive awards at ACES Europe Gala Ceremony taking place at the end of 2021 at European Parliament<\/a> in Brussels together with other 30 awarded cities from the countries across Europe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
