CBBS, management consulting and EU lobbying company from Zagreb successfully supported Croatian Zagreb County to be awarded with the title: European Region of Sport 2027 and the Town of Poreč-Parenzo to be awarded with the title: European Town of Sport 2027 in the competition organized by ACES (European Capitals and Cities of Sport Federation) from Brussels.
These titles are awarded annually by ACES, to cities and regions that systematically promote sport, physical activity, healthy lifestyles and the inclusion of all groups of citizens, while continuously investing in the development of sports programmes and infrastructure.
The award recipients will receive their ACES Europe recognitions together with around forty other awarded European cities and regions at an official ceremony to be held at the European Parliament in Brussels at the end of 2026.
The ceremony will be attended by representatives of the European Commission, the European Parliament, UNESCO and other European institutions, further confirming the importance of sport as a means of improving health, social inclusion, quality of life and the sustainable development of local communities.
Through its cooperation with cities, counties and European institutions, CBBS continues to contribute to the international promotion of Croatian local and regional communities and to their participation in European sports initiatives.
