CBBS in CEFA activities in Ljubljana and Bucharest
Berislav Čižmek, CEO of CBBS took active part in latest activities of CEFA (Central European Fair Alliance) in Bucharest and Ljubljana. From March 29 to 30, ROMEXPO and the Romanian Chambers of Commerce and Industry hosted, for the first time in Romania, the 2012 CEFA Steering Committee Meeting.
22 participants from 12 member companies located in 10 countries attended the meeting. The delegation’s visit was part of the process of strengthening and expanding the collaboration partnerships, as well as achieving a European connection between the representatives in the industry of trade fairs and exhibitions. Part of CEFA meeting in Bucharest was connected with the discussion about EU Danube Strategy opportunities for CEFA members.
In Ljubljana, April 18 – 20, 2012 Berislav Čižmek was one of the speakers in CEFA Young Professional Seminar 2012 that brought together some 25 young managers from all CEFA members. YPS 2012 in Ljubljana was organized by CEFA and hosted by Ljubljana Fair. The programme was covering different topics connected with B2C shows under the title: Tomorrow: General – Special – or No Interest Exhibitions? Are fringe events stabilizers for consumer shows? Berislav Čižmek took part with a workshop and presentation about repositioning Sport & Boat Show in Zagreb: „How to enlarge and reposition your consumer show by implementing events and conferences: Lessons learned from theSport & Boat Show in Zagreb“.
