CBBS, management consulting and EU lobbying company from Zagreb successfully supported Croatian Primorje Gorski Kotar County to be awarded with the title: „European Region of Sport 2026“ and the City of Šibenik to be awarded with the title: “European City of Sport 2026“ in the competition organized by ACES (European Capitals and Cities of Sport Federation) from Brussels.
Besides Croatian cities CBBS has supported successful candidatures of the other cities from South East Europe as follows: Rogaška Slatina (Slovenia), Novi Sad (Serbia), Korca (Albania) i Prizren (Kosovo).
All awarded European Regions, Cities, Communities and Towns of Sport, including the City of Napples as European Capital of Sport 2026, will be the reference for sport, physical activity and sport policies in Europe during the next 12 months.
ACES and CBBS are working closely in order to bring the new candidates from Croatia/SE Europe interested to become European Capitals, Regions, Cities, Islands and Towns of Sport and members of ACES.
